REDBULL ROMANIACS VERTICAL MADNESS EDITION

Originally scheduled for July, the RedBull Romaniacs Vertical Madness Edition finally took place at the end of October this year.
Our Sherco Factory Racing Extreme Enduro team traveled to Romania in the city of Sibiu with our 2 riders Wade Young and Mario Roman.
 

With a modified schedule to adapt to the new sanitary measures, the race started with a Time Trial Qualification in the mountains to supplement the very famous and usual Prologue that is normally held in the city center of Sibiu. Wade Young won this first day thus starting his racing week in the best possible way.
He will then be very consistent during the first 3 days of racing; he was on the podium every day and was in 3rd place overall.
On the final day, after more than 20 hours on the bike, he conceded his 3rd place by only 13 seconds and finished 4th in this Vertical Madness Edition. Wade gave everything he had to try to get this podium!

Mario Roman also started his week very strongly. He was in a particularly good rhythm during the first day of the race, but he had a hard fall and lost several minutes. Despite everything, he managed to finish this edition in sixth position.
