2020 TRIALGP: A GREAT START TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP FOR SHERCO RIDERS!
The first race of the 2020 Trial World Championship was held in Isola, France. The weekend challenged the riders with two consecutive races (Saturday / Sunday). It was a good start to the championship for Sherco riders!
Saturday
Jeroni FAJARDO opened this world championship with an excellent third place finish, he spent the entire race defending his podium. With this podium in TrialGP, Sherco once again enters the top 3 in the World Championship. Congratulations to the whole team!
Dan Peace finished in 11th place; this was his introduction to the TrialGP category.
A brilliant victory for Emma BRISTOW who did not leave 1st place throughout the race. Emma and her Sherco left little room for the competition, she started this 2020 season in the best possible way.
In GP2, Jack Peace finished in 10th place.
Sunday
Jeroni FAJARDO and his 300 ST FACTORY led the first two laps on Sunday, he was under pressure from the other riders who had some very tight scores. On the third lap with a very tight time frame and an error in zones 1 and 9, he dropped back to fourth place.
Dan PEACE is gradually raising his level to face the zones in the trial GP category and finished 12th.
Emma BRISTOW stays at the top of the podium, winning Sunday’s race with authority. Emma and her Sherco clinched the double over the weekend in Women’s TrialGP. Well done!
In the GP2 category Jack PEACE got closer to the podium on the 2nd day with a nice 4th place finish.
The World Cup returns to Spain next week. The Sherco team will be there!
